About US

OUR STORY

Wide Books was informally founded by Henri Wintz and David Hyde in mid-2012 with the publication of PRECIOUS ARTIFACTS: A Philip K. Dick Bibliography, USA and UK Editions, 1955-2012. It specializes in books on or about PKD and his writings. We promote our activities through our Precious Artifacts Facebook page and our bibliographic website The Philip K. Dick Bookshelf.

Biographies

Henri Winz

Dr. Henri Wintz (Ph.D. Université Louis Pasteur – Strasbourg) is a free-lance Science Writer and Editor and lives in California. Henri moved into the publishing business (traditional and digital) after a career as a scientist that spanned more than two decades in places like the Université Louis Pasteur (Strasbourg), Cornell University, and University of California-Berkeley. Henri brings to Wide-Books not only expertise in publishing on different platforms, but also experience in marketing communications, content marketing, and digital marketing. His interest in Philip K. Dick began in France when he, like many PKD fans, read one of Dick’s novels and was caught forever by the imagination of this great writer. His website pkdickbooks.com is a prime source for bibliographic information and Philip K. Dick cover art with over 2000 editions from all around the world displayed.

Since then, his activities have included:
